595° O2 Broadband - Free 12 months Xbox Gold, 5 Arcade Games, Kinect Sports Season 2 & 2100 Points! £12.50 a Month & 6 Month Half Price

O2 Broadband - Free 12 months Xbox Gold, 5 Arcade Games, Kinect Sports Season 2 & 2100 Points! £12.50 a Month & 6 Month Half Price

£12.50 a month plus minimum 6 months half price, if you know anyone on o2 and have a number, you can have 12 months half price!

Even better, I called to cancel because i'm with Sky and they have an offer on, and they took my bill down to £15.25 a month for the all-rounder including line rental, and chucked in this offer for free because I saw it on the website. They said the pack would come in 28 days from today on two disks, and the XBL games are a redeemable code.

Can anyone confirm if existing subscribers are eligible for this offer, as they have been in the past?

"And If you've already got our home broadband, you can still get all of these things. As long as you are eligible to re-sign your contract with us."

Not sure if it'd bother you but Plusnet were one of the companies who failed to defend their customers when Mr Andrew Crossley simply asked for names of customers. He then proceeded to try and file several frivolous lawsuits against several people for downloading porn. This is why I left Sky, another one of the companies who failed to defend customers.

Was going to post this offer but wasn't sure whether this is an actual deal?

Anyway,, as a current O2 bb as well as line rental customer , my year contract expired in June but when I saw this last week, I rang them up & was told I was eligible for this offer so they have renewed my contract for another year,,, but still haven't received anything thru the post, yet.

Don't know what the O2 broadband is like as I'm tied in with Sky.

If you deduct the value of the MS Points, Kinect Game, and Xbox Live subscription this makes the deal equivalent to just under 4.80 a month for the year. Based on values of £15,£15,£25 respectively.

Opps,, forgot to mention.

You should go for 'The works' package rather than 'All rounder' as the allrounder package on download is terrible,, it gets throttled on downloads.

It'll take a few weeks. I renewed around the 20th of August, my stuff arrived on Friday. The Kinect Sports game is the normal retail thing so I sold it to CEX for £9. The codes for the XBLA games are printed on the front of the 2,100 MS points pack, and the 12-month Xbox Live is another separate pack. There's also 1-month Xbox Live code inside Kinect Sports so if you do decide to sell it, take the code out first.

o2 are know better they have literally Bent Over for Ben Dover and his speculative invoicing scheme he is trying to make money from.

O2 didn't even bother defending the NPO filed by GoldenEye (Ben Dover) the judge had to invite Consumer Focus to defend the 9000 o2 customers Ben Dover wanted the ip addresses off Consumer Focus

Having said all that I have been with O2 for 4 years on a legacy package and have been very happy with the service, anyone signing up for a new account the only account they do that is unlimited is THE Works package the rest are traffic managed

Package Details O2 packages

Package Activity The speed you'll get

The Basics Watching videos and streaming 0.8 meg (any time)
Sharing files (peer-to-peer) 0.05 meg (busy times)
0.1 meg (the rest of the time)

The All Rounder Watching videos and streaming As fast as your line/home can handle (any time)
Sharing files (peer-to-peer) 0.1 meg (busy times)
0.25 meg (the rest of the time)

The Works Watching videos and streaming As fast as your line/home can handle (any time)

Yeah, whats the point when you can just stream it :D

I do remember reading a story about lots of people getting a letter claiming copyright infringements when they actually hadn't been downloading things illegally. It would be a hard one to prove your innocence though.
