Probably the best price around for this model with 5 yr guarantee but it's only 50Hz. What i'd really like is a decent 37" 100Hz tv for this price. Voted hot anyway.

According to google shopping results all the other major retailers are charging between £80-200 more for this model. Tesco are even selling a refurbished one for more.

Great tv, good dlna media server is used with Serviio (free! http://www.serviio.org/). Great android and iphone control app, additional to the standard remote. Doesn't included a Wifi adapter, Sony's is £50+ expensive and no compatible alternative. TP-Link Homeplug 200mpbs sold by Amazon for £35 are a cheaper and much better option or just run a ethernet cable.

The 37" models use inferior panels to the 32/40".

I'm not sure if it's ALL 37" Sony sets. I know it applied to a certain range once (can't remember specifically which one), but it was a few years ago now.

The Sony 32" and 40" use SPVA panels. The 37" uses MVA so has worse blacks/viewing angle.

I have heard this too, that they don't make their 37 inch screens. One of the main reasons I got a 40 inch

Is 50Hz any good? I have a 100Hz TV and my in-laws have 50Hz. Seems there picture isn't as good as ours. (Both TVs Sony LCDs, theirs newer than ours).
